At the Critics’ Choice Awards last night (January 15, 2010) Emily Blunt showed everyone how to stand out from the crowd on the red carpet.
While many celebrities stick to the standards of black or white gowns with an occasional fiery red, Emily struck gold – or silver! – with her shimmery George Chakra Couture dress. It featured a silvery-gray shade with plenty of sequins for extra shine. The knee-length dress was made from tulle and had some embroidered detailing to resemble fish scales.
It’s not necessarily my personal style but I give Emily major kudos for a different sort of dress on the red carpet!
