The Costume Designers Guild Awards is a great place to see celebrities wearing some of the craziest gowns that you’ll ever see them strut on a red carpet. At the Critics’ Choice Awards last night (January 15, 2010) Emily Blunt showed everyone how to stand out from the crowd on the red carpet. While many celebrities stick to the standards of black or white gowns with an occasional fiery red, Emily struck gold – or silver! – with her shimmery George Chakra Couture dress. It featured a silvery-gray shade with plenty of sequins for extra shine.

If you happen to catch Emily Blunt out on the street doing her running around to talk shows or the airport, you can almost guarantee that she’s got her favorite handbag hanging off of her shoulder.
